Eragon

Eragon is a book about a boy which has found an egg and doesn't know what it is.
It hatches and the evil king wants to declare war because he wants the only dragon in the kindom but I'm not going to tell you anymore. You will have to read it for yourself. Overall a really good book. I rate it a 7/10

Skullduggery Pleasant-Derek Landy

This book is about a magical detective, who solves deadly mysteries.
In this book his friend(Gordon Edgley- uncle of Stephanie Edgley)
dies and Gordon leaves skullduggery something, and you get the idea
that Stephanies curious. OOHHHH, and did I mention skullduggery is ......
DEAD!!

I thought this book was thrilling and a bit complicated.

I give this 8/10.

noughts & crosses

Noughts and crosses is a brilliant book about a boy called Callum and a girl called Sephy . They are a couple of years apart but have been best friends since Callum's mum worked for Sephy's family . Callum is a a nought and Sephy is a cross. Crosses are the more wealthy people and noughts are the less wealthy . It all changes when Callum goes to Sephy's school and they are not allowed to sit next to each other or talk to each other because there a different race. But when a bomb goes off at the local shopping mall , has Callum's family got anything to do with it ? Will Sephy help ?
I would give this book an 8/10 and i recommend reading it :D

Chris Ryan Desert Pursuit

'Desert Pursuit' is a great book about 5 of the alpha team trying to find their way to a sand dune. They have to cross the Saharin desert and when they arrive, one of them runs on to the mine field to save a dead boy who had been blown up so she could take him back to the boy's family. On the way she gets her shoe caught on the trigger of a mine and I don't want to give any more away. I really enjoyed this book because it was exciting and interesting. I would give it an 8/10.

Invisable city is a book about a boy called Josh whose father was reported dead in an air crash in Mexico. Josh must save the planet from the end of the world in 2012 by findging the Ix Codex, which only he can find. Josh will find out the secerets of a hidden Mayan city (Ek Naab). Will Josh find the Ix Codex?. Will Josh save the world?. And will Josh find out who killed his fater?. I would give this book a 9/10.    CJC

Eragon is a great book about a boy called Eragon who has an uncle that looks after he and his brother.eragon finds a blue shaped stone thingie that is not realy a blue shaped stone thingie. He is living with his uncle until the his brother joins the army.Than the blue shaped stone thingy that isnt realy a blue shaped stone thingey hatches into a dragon(wooooooooohoooooo.)But than his uncle is killed by a razac!(dundundundundahhhhhhhhhhhh)Very disapointing, the dragon gives eragon a scar but is it realy a scar?Yes it is. I coulld go on for ever but im not going to so read it for your self if you dont you are missing out on life so stop playing on the xbox or ps3 and start reading! by piersie

The Boy Who Last His Face

The boy who lost his face is a book about a boy called David, who's a bit of a loser ! His best friend is called Scott who has recently become popular with some other boys. David doesn't want to embarrass Scott in front of his new friends so he try's to act cool. One day Scott, David and the other boys decide there going to vandalise Mrs Bayfield's house (an old lady who lives close to scott )  David wasn't to happy about this because he quite like Mrs Bayfield. But then it all goes wrong david didn't do anything but when they left he thought he would try and act cool and turn around and flip Mrs Bayfield off, Then David is cuuuuuurrsseeeddddd !.....i would rate this book 8 1/2 out of ten. i really enjoyed this book

The Dead is a great book about a disease either killing or infecting people over the age of fourteen.
A bunch of kids are wondering around helplessly, looking after themselfs as a group.
 Will they make it to safety?
Will they survive the disease?
Will they survive their fourteenth birthday?????????

The boy in the striped pyjamas-John Boyne

Bruno is a young boy of 8 3/4 who lives in a huge house in Berlin with his parents and his sister (who he calls a hopeless case) and is planning his future with his 3 best friends for life, but one night a man called the Fury come to dinner and things start to change...

They move to a house called The Out-With and Bruno absolutely hates it.

One day he looks out of the bedroom window and sees a far away fence and then sees figures then he realizes there are people there who are all wearing the same pyjamas and decides to go exploring...

This is a very good book and is written just like you would expect an 8 year old boy would write, but is soooooo sad, i would give it a higher mark but because its so sad i will only give it a 6/10 SS

Boys don't cry by Malorie Blackman.

'Boys don't cry' is one of the best books I have ever read. It has drama, violence and you can't stop reading to find out what will happen next.

It is about a boy called Dante, Adam (his brother)and their dad. Their mum had died a few years ago. Dante is waiting for the postman to arrive with the results of his A levels. Whether he goes to uni or not depends on these results, but when the door bell rings it is not the postman it is his old girlfriend with a baby, his baby!! M.D

I would recommend reading this brilliant book!

The Covenant of Genesis by Andy Mcdermott

The Covenant of Genesis is the 4th book in this great series its all about two people called Nina Wilde and Eddie Chase. Who find hints of a great discovery from a tablet lost in the middle of the ocean this tablet got them one step closer to discovering the Garden of Eden. But they aren't the only ones trying two find the lost Garden of Eden because the evil group of people the Covenant of Genesis are close on there tail.

A great book and a great series I would highly recommend the book and the whole series

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire-Jk.Rowling

The goblet of fire is a great book about 3 freinds called Harry,Ron and Hermione who go to their magic school called Hogwarts. This book is the fourth in the series and my favourite. In this book the main event is a set of magic games called the Tri-Wizard Cup. Harry is accidentally entered. He is against three people who come from different schools. The games are challenging and in the film are a bit creepy.

I would rate this book an 8 and would recomend it. (The book gives more detail than the film.)

this book is about a group of boys find themself stuck at school and everybody over 14 have ither died or gone mad killing zombies. this book is very gorey like the french teacher gets a pice of wood nailed to his head. 9/10 read the first book or you won`t get it.          hw

This is a book about two people called Callum and Sephy. Callum is a nought, white and ruled by the powerful crosses. Sephy is a cross , she is black and her father is one of the most powerful men in the country. Callum and Sephy are about 3 years apart but have been best friends since they were young and they think that's the way it'll always be. But one day when the two of them have to go to school and they're not allowed to be friends,things start to change.Sephy is confused and Callum is full of secrets.....

MAN VS BEAST

This story is the sixth in the cherub series and I would advise you read the others first this book is about 3 cherubs who have to infiltrate an animal rights group called Zebra Alliance but then they realise there's another animal rights activist group that are about to unveil a huge plan to raise awareness of animals and their group and will kill a celebrity to do it.Can the cherubs stop them in time read to find out. I thought this book was action packed the whole time and full of surprises I would give it a 8/10

This book is about child spies at a school that is very secret. This is a good book but it is the last in the series so i suggest that you read the others before.
In this book the students spy on a target without the school knowing. The pupils risk being exp
elled. It is an action packed book and the other books are really good too so you should read them first. 10/10 for the series 9/10 for the book.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon

This book is very different to any other book I have ever read. It is about a boy called Christopher Boone, who is 15 and suffers from autism. He lives with his Father because his Mother had supposedly had a heart attack in hospital. He has trouble undertstanding what other people are thinking and what their expressions are, but he can understand Maths and Science, Christopher doesn't like having lots of people around him because he does not like being touched, or lots of noise around him. Christopher has always wanted to be a detective like Sherlock Holmes and he finds his neighbour's murdered dog in front of his neighbour's house. So Christopher starts to write this book and he wants to make it a murder mystery about who killed his neighbour's dog. When he finds out who killed the dog he runs away to try and get away from the murderer. The police start to look for him because his Father is worried sick about where he has gone. Christopher does his best to keep away from them and eventually finds himself lost in London with lots of people and lots of noise.

Great Book! :)

This is a book about three best friends, Nonie (loves fashion), Edie (is a geek and plans to save the world) and Jenny (has a main part in a Hollywood film).
But when the best friends meet a girl called Crow who's poor and lives with her aunt in a small flat in London and is also refugee from Africa, their whole lives change.
Crow loves designing things and Nonie soon finds out how talented Crow is and what amazing things she can do with a piece of fabric.

I liked this book, it was a bit cheesy and way too girly for boys to read, but it was OK.
The cover is terrible but the book's good.

LEWIS HAMILTON'S "MY STORY"

This book is (in my opinion) the most tedious book... in the world.

I got to about page 150 and then left it half way down a ski resort in a restaurant, but to be honest I don't think I was really missing out on much.

The thing I really hated about this book was that there was NO story whatsoever, the whole book was "this weekend I went to a race and won it, the week after that my dad drove me to race and I finished in first place, surprisingly the weekend after that I won another race".

Really, DON'T READ IT!
I mean, he's got a good story... but he cant write, get someone else to do it.
