Harvey Metcalfe, international banker and owner of a promising oil company, is also one of the most sucessful thiefs around. Over the years he has made millions by fraud and lies. When his oil company's shares go throught the roof, many people buy them hoping to make a small fortune. Among these people are a Harley street doctor, a Bond street art dealer, and heir to an Earldom and an Oxford professor. Each has poured a large sum into the company, so when Harvey runs off with the money, they find themselves pennyless. They team up to track down Harvey as he embarks on his annual holiday.
Their objective:to take back all of the money they have lost. Not a penny more, not a penny less.
This book is a massive contender for my most favourite book of all time. Its stupidly brilliant!!!!! 10/10 :) L.B
