Rowan the strange

A dark and wonderful book about a boy called Rowan who has a strange problem in his head and goes to a mental hospital in the countryside. Set in the second world war. This is something he says, "I didn't mean to hurt my sister there was a voice in my head that told me to, in my right mind I wouldn't hurt a fly.
