THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME

it is a book about a young boy with special needs called Christopher Boone whose mother had died (or did she?)
He is trying to solve the murder of their neighbour, Mrs Shears', dog, Wellington. His dad tells him to stay out of people's business and not ask anyone about the killing. Christopher begins to believe the Mr. Shears, Mrs Shears' ex husband, was the one who committed the murder but when Chris is looking around his dad's possessions he finds a bunch of letters addressed to him. He opens them to find that his mum had been writing to him, BUT SHE WAS DEAD???  dun dun dunnnnnnnnnnn......... he followed the address on the envelope to find his mother in the same house as Mr. Shears...huh?.  She had had an affair; she wasn't dead at all. She decided to move out of living with Mr. Shears and move back to Ed, his dad. at first, they weren't the best of friends but they get better.  It ends with Ed buying Christopher a pet dog to replace Toby, his rat.
I really enjoyed this book. I would rate it ummmmmmm. 9/10
