'My Name's Mina' is, to be honest with you a very boring book. It just talks about birds and souls and stuff like that!!! I know I am supposed to make you want to read the book but I would not read it again. Nothing happens at all!If you were into birds and intellectual stuff like that you would love this book. This book is the or prequel of 'Skellig'. This book is all about the girl Mina, who is in 'Skellig'.Mina's dad had died a few years ago and Mina was living with her mum at home. Mina is homeschooled and it says a bit more about it in the book. Mina always goes up in the tree every day and watches the blackbirds and their babies grow up. I would give this book 1/10.M.Donaldson.
