Glory in the cup by Bob Cattell [DC]

Glory in the cup is about glory gardens c.c  and there experiences in the cup they are in but there is one problem setting  up the team.In this book they have to set the team up and find enough players and there is a friendly teacher at school called kiddo which helps them set up the team and have coaching sessions.Hooker the main character is captain finds out how tough it is to manage a team:some players squabble, some can't catch and some have tantrums and go home at half time. They come up against some tough teams and have some great victories.
I would rate this book 8/10 enjoyed it  a lot and at times had me on  the edge of my seat .This book is in a series of eight books and is mainly aimed at cricket loving fans.

  19. Sounds like an interesting book if you are a cricket fan. From what you have written it appears to be a simple plot and not one that I would be gripped by. SG
