Island of the Blue Dolphins (VND)

This is a true story of an American Indian girl's struggle for survival.

Twelve-year old Karana escapes death at hands of treacherous hunters, only to find herself alone on a harsh and deserted island.

How she survives in all sorts of dangers makes the book gripping and inspiring.
